Nice hike from Aesch to the Mariastein cloister. This hike brings you first along a nice little creek, the Chlusbach, then through the Aesch wineyards. There you can do wine tasting or enjoy a light meal. After a small part in the forest the easy way brings you along orchards, with a nice view on the valley and far off the Roche tower. Finally, the Mariastein cloister and the baroque chapel are worth a visit, there are also regularly exhibitions and concerts. The hike ends in Flüh, but one can go visit the nearby ruins of the Landskron castle just across the border in France.
