This easy hike brings you from one pond to the other through the wonderful typical Jura landscapes. The two ponds are less famous than the étang de la Gruère but with a deep blue water definitely deserve a visit. The landscape along the way alternates between meadows and fir tree forests where you can see the Franches-Montagnes horse breed, and typical farms from the Jura complete the scenery.
